The pulsating organ
Euphoric Dark Art | Surreal | Experimental
The House of Red Velvet is surrealistic and euphoric dark art theater. You will be taken through a winding dream-like metaphor of erotic and disturbing images. Provoking your senses and confusing your mind. The House of Red Velvet is an experimental congregation of the surreal. A collective dream inducing human emotions.
THE BIRTH
The House of Red Velvet was established under the California moonlight in April of 2015. The debut show was to a sold out crowd at Bar Lubitsch in West Hollywood. The show has been performed in San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland.
Since 2021, The House of Red Velvet has raised hundreds of dollars in support of mental health, and to charities such as NAMI and the Curesz Foundation.
“The House of Red Velvet is far more than just a stage show; it is a room that exists on the fringes of sensation and reality, tempting audiences to inhale the heady scent of powerful erotica tinged with horror. It lingers long in the imagination when it finally sighs to a fevered halt.”

“ I have experienced something that spoke to my soul. It was very much needed to empower me to live my true life.”
-Vanessa
“This production is spun from a web of dark nightmares and thrust upon our psyches in a surreal Lynchian Daliesque performance that exudes sensuality, obsession, lust, rage and female empowerment and dominance. It is Everything that we dream about in the blackness of night. You will be completely immersed in pure dark euphoria in the House of Red Velvet.”

“It’s a show that never disappoints. I’m always left awestruck and inspired. It was a whirlwind of emotions. I left wondering if my perception was changed. If new desires awakened. It’s a show I’ll see again and again and should not be missed. Olivia Bellafontaine knows how to put on a show. The performers were top notch and never not exciting. You will always have a new experience every show. I can’t say enough good things about this show.”
-Guy
“Brutal typography and an incredible, beautiful, visceral display of the human emotion and condition. Such brilliant performances.”
- Quinn
“Absolutely MINDBLOWING show tonight at The House of Red Velvet. I was really impressed by the members only VIP pre-show event - there aren’t enough words to describe the artistry, vision, uniqueness. Like something out of a twisted, surrealistic, erotic fever dream with a dash of witchcraft and darkness. I’ve traveled the world and seen performances around the globe, and The House of Red Velvet is one of the absolute best. There’s nothing else like it and the world desperately needs more panic style, purely creative theater performances like this!”

“Part of (Olivia’s) brilliance, I think, is in her “organic” approach. She didn’t construct specific goals as much as she followed her heart and flowering imagination. And we, her slack-jawed audience, are stunned.”

“It is a dream to come see this production.”

“I do want to say thank you for holding such a wonderfully dark liminal space. I am honored to have been able to experience that with such dedicated and passionate women.”
-Michelle
“I’ve been struggling to find the right words to express my experience of the performance. It was a haunting of ecstasy, a show with as much emotional power as there was mental. At times, I seemed to be pulled to the edge of sanity and savagery, damnation, and salvation. Even now as I write, the right words still seem to escape exactly what my soul went through.”
